The Peak District is the UK’s oldest national park.  We have great walking, climbing, road and mountain biking routes right from the farm.

Also within the Peak District are numerous picturesque villages to explore; world renowned stately homes including Chatsworth only a few minutes away; castles; caves; incredible rock formations and much more.

We are always happy to advise our guests on the wonderful activities and surrounding areas to explore.

Stunning Walks

We love walking around the beautiful moorlands surrounding our farm and enjoying the spectacular views.  Have a look at some of our favourite walks.

Fantastic Off-road Cycle Routes

We have some of the most scenic traffic free cycle trails in our locality.  Click on the links to Savvy Cycling route guides.  Enjoy the following trails only a few minutes drive from the farm.   The Monsal Trail, The Ladybower Cycle Route, The High Peak Trail and The Tissington Trail.  Most of these trails have cycle hire, or bring your own bikes and store them securely at our farm.

Experience Sheffield’s Vibrant Cultural Scene

We are located on the edge of Sheffield, The Outdoor City with its thriving cultural scene boasting award-winning theatres, galleries and museums, beer, music, festivals, street art and so much more.

Sheffield is the UK’s leading destination for people seeking outdoor adventure, city culture and rural escapes.  Located on seven hills which entice road cyclists and mountain bikers alike. To top all that off, the city has more trees per person than any other in Europe, with lots of public parks, linking into the glorious Peak District National Park.
