Come and see our Beautiful Animals
We love our animals at Bank View Farm and are very happy for you to explore the farm, play with and feed our animals.
Our dogs love to play and our Alpacas will run over to be hand fed. The giant tortoises are amazing to see grazing around the orchard and our birds provide lots of lovely fresh eggs. In the spring we often hatch out new turkey and hen chicks which pour guests can enjoy. We hope that you will enjoy our animals as much as we do.

Alpacas
Since June 2021, we’ve had four lovely alpacas living on the farm; Jarvis, Jamiroquai, Mackenzie and Danube. They are very friendly and happy to be hand fed. The two bigger alpacas, Jarvis and Jamiroquai, have black coats while the two smaller one, Mackenzie and Danube, are a lighter colour.
Dogs
On the farm, we have two very friendly dogs, Moss and Koko. Moss is an energetic Border Collie who would ideally like to play catch all day long. He would love for you to come and throw a ball for him. Koko is a small and fluffy Jack Russell who will be happy to come and give you lots of cuddles.
Tortoises
We have two giant tortoises, named Tallulah and Goliath. They are sulcata tortoises (one of the largest species in the world) and during the Summer they can be found grazing in the Orchard, alongside the geese and chickens.
Poultry
We have a large variety of poultry on the farm including chickens, geese and turkeys. All of our poultry are very friendly and the chickens’ eggs are used in most of our breakfast options. Our poultry can be found in the Orchard and above the car park and they would love for you to go in and feed them some corn. Also, we hatch out some birds ourselves, so if you’re lucky you may see some baby chicks.
Bees
Rachel and some friends are keen beekeepers and keep their bees on the farm. The honey that the bees produce can be had with breakfasts and can be bought when you come and stay.
